Tabernacle, meaning ‘the dwelling or settling of God’s presence’, in Old Testament times, was a tent outside the main camp of Israel. Each believer, in the new covenant, is a dwelling place of God, and together as a body of believers, we seek to ‘host’ God’s manifest glory. We serve as a ‘seat’ for God to sit the weight of His glory upon (2 Chronicles 5:14-15, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
