Jesus is our Great High Priest. We come boldly before the throne of grace, in to God’s presence, directly through the blood of Christ shed on the cross (Hebrews 4:15-16 and 10:10 & 14)

Each believer, as a child of God, has been ‘anointed’ to minister as a priest in the presence of the Holy One (1 Peter 2:5 & 9)

Levites or worship leaders have a specific responsibility before the Lord and His people to lead and minister before Him. The dynamic of the old covenant, where Levites were the only ones who could minister, has been made new through grace. Now, all God’s people can pray, prophecy and worship before Him. Levites (worship leaders) lead God’s people in this. Worship leaders are not here to make it happen for people; a ‘worshipful heart’ is each individual believers responsibility. A worship leaders role is to facilitate the corporate engagement of God’s people with their maker (Joshua 18:7, 1 Chronicles 23:5, Nehemiah 9:5, Nehemiah 12:27-47)

Tabernacle, meaning ‘the dwelling or settling of God’s presence’, in Old Testament times, was a tent outside the main camp of Israel. Each believer, in the new covenant, is a dwelling place of God, and together as a body of believers, we seek to ‘host’ God’s manifest glory. We serve as a ‘seat’ for God to sit the weight of His glory upon (2 Chronicles 5:14-15, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

We are Spirit-filled, Spirit-led, Spirit-inspired people, seeking Holy Spirit encounters. We are chasing God’s manifest glory (Acts 4:31)

Ebenezer House is catered to God, not to people. We are not creating ‘nice meetings’ but opportunities for God’s people to offer to Him a sacrificial offering of worship and praise (Hebrews 13:15, Romans 12:1)

As spirit-filled people, engaging with God who is spirit, we believe that our worship releases the transforming, restorative, creative power of the Spirit of God in to peoples lives, locations and circumstances (2 Corinthians 3:17)

As Ebenezer House, the testimony of God in the midst of His people, we are declaring the salvation of our God and His victory on our behalf. We believe we are in the last days and that one day soon Jesus is going to return for His bride - as a worshipping people we want to be ready! (1 Samuel 7:12, Revelation 19:7-8)
